Silicone Gel Sheeting has been the most recommended scar treatment for more than 30 years. Numerous clinical studies confirm its efficacy in preventing and treating scars resulting from surgery, trauma and burns. It is used by plastic surgeons, dermatologists, and burn centers all around the world. Silagen Silicone Gel Sheeting is the result of 10 years of research and development. This non-sensitizing, self-adhesive, flexible sheeting offers the following benefits:

Directions: If necessary, trim gel sheet to fit. It should be at least 1cm beyond the area being treated. Wash and dry affected area. Peel off the backing and apply over scar with adhesive side down. Wear daily for 6-24 hours. Remove once daily to allow site to be washed and dried. For best results, use daily for a minimum of 2 months. If gel sheet becomes dirty or loses adhesiveness, wash gently with water and mild soap. Allow to air dry before reapplying. Use storage tray included in package to store the gel sheet when not in use. Silagen Silicone Gel Sheeting can be used exclusively for the full coarse of treatment or alternated with other products in the Silagen Scar Refinement System, including Silagen UV Protection Silicone Gel and Silagen 100% Pure Silicone Gel. Do not use Silagen UV Protection Silicone Gel and Silagen 100% Pure Silicone Gel under Silagen Gel Sheeting or it will cause the sheeting to lose adhesiveness. Use Silagen Silicone Gels during the day and alternate with Sheeting at night if desired.
